Hi Jon, how is 42W treating you, famously, I hope. Wish I could make the fly in would be nice to see all you people.

Re: South Central Fly-in

Can I get a roll call for everyone that has registered at the Hangar Hotel for Feb 17, 18 or both? I just talked to Garrett and he is only showing myself and Jaeb in the Commander Fly-In block of rooms. If you have registered, make sure they know your in that group for the $30 discount. Thanks

Re: South Central Fly-in

MB and I are booked for the 18th.... And believe we have the Commander rate. $149, right?

Re: South Central Fly-in

No hotel reservations for us since its looking shaky on attending due to refurb and new interior - taking forever! Still hope to make it at this point but will likely just make it a day trip.

Re: South Central Fly-in

David,
Please get back with the hotel. They couldn't find you anywhere. Might of fallen into the bit bucket! Carol is on now and will fix you up (again). Unless you registered as John Smith :)

Looking forward to seeing you there no matter how you get there!

It is quite possible, even likely, we are registered under my co-pilot's name, Mary Beth Maddox. I'll have her check.

Re: South Central Fly-in

Craig,

Ginger and I are coming in on the 17th. I have a room confirmed and I had to call a second time to get the proper rate.

I'm most likely listed under Herman Lanmon.

I am in a race to see if my panel will be done on time. It's gonna be a close thing.

Got it under MB thanks. Herman got you too.

Blaine Joann and I went out tonight and on way back home we were wondering how y'all were doing how have you been?

Re: South Central Fly-in

Well, bad news for me today. The new panel arrived but it was unpainted and unmarked. Apparently signals were crossed and the panel maker thought my avionics guy wanted to test fit it before it gets powder coated and stenciled even though they had previously sent a plastic model for test fit. Anyway, long story short, sent it back and I won't see it back for a week. Then three days to complete installation.

Net result, no Fredericksburg for me.

Re: South Central Fly-in

Yeah, well I was really looking forward to visiting with you guys so this is a disappointment for both Regina and myself. Glad I held off booking the hotel til I was sure.

As you said Craig, always a next time!

Blaine,
42W has been great. Can't say enough about it! Had it above 16k coming back from Sedona, getting comfortable in the mid-teens. Auto-pilot getting a little cantankerous though- anybody have a lead on a good service center for a Century III?

Nice to hear from you-
Jon

Re: South Central Fly-in

Well, I hate to be the first to go for the chute, but the weather looks lousy for Friday and worse for Saturday. Guess we'll have to make the next one. Hotel had no problem cancelling our Fri/Sat reservation. They need the rain, so it's not all bad I guess.....

Re: South Central Fly-in

Hate to hear it Craig. I'm holding off judgment until tomorrow sometime. The weather in Texas is so squirrelly that it could be sunny and 60 Friday & Saturday despite what the forecast calls for.... hope so anyway.

Re: South Central Fly-in

We'll be there if we have to walk!

... Which is a real possibility at this point!

Re: South Central Fly-in

I'll decide tomorrow. Let's hope things brighten up!
