Postponed for one week......Folks, there is a front coming thru which will probably screw up Ian flying in from NO and will most likely come thru near the time of our fly-in. Also, Jeff is still down with leaky fuel drains. Rather than chance the weather, let's just put it off for one week and pray for more typical weather. So the new Fly-in date is 12/4 at 9:00. Please let me knowwho can make this date. Thanks.

It looks like the weather gods will be smiling and our SE Fly In looks great for Saturday 12/4 at 9:00AM. So far Eric Huppert, Pat and Kiko, Ken Andrews and Jeff are go, so we will have aty least five planes. Please let me know if we have other attenddees so I can make sure we have enough food!

The weather is holding perfect guys, so the fly in is on! Any questions or concerns, feel free to call me at 352.245.8832 or my cell is 352.615.3580. Went flying yesterday and the air is crisp and stable. The coffee will be on anytime after 8:00AM with expected arrivals around 9:00 AM. Breakfast served at 10:00 AM. Looking forward to seeing all of you here tomorrow.

Well, we had a good time despite only a few folks showing up. Eric Huppert flew in with his really nice 112TC and Scott Charlton and his wife Suzie drove in from their nearby house. Scott has a Cherokee and is a good friend of Judi Anderson who recently moved to the area. Ken Andrews had a last minute business issue and Pat and Kiko lost their flaps before departure from MLB, so we certainly had enough food! Weather was CAVU and the companionship was great. Looks forward to seeing the SE Commanders together again soon. Jeff we missed you!

You know it never fails Tommy. Finaly after 6 months of crap I have this opprotunity and the F---n plane screws up again. Never got out of Flager air space. Could not get my gear up all the way nor down. Went out over Cresent lake to try to free it up but no luck there. I was happy I had installed the breaker that shuts it down otherwise I would have burned up the motor for the third time.
I finally had to pull my emergency and land at flager.
So there you have it. The guys in the tower now just expect that 08j is coming and get ready for a gear problem.
They are all typical problems that we all have, it just does not want to go away.
I will spend the day there today trouble shooting and fixing.
Man what a day you guys had too. It was perfect!

Wow Jeff, I wondered what happened! Sorry ot hear about the gear. I suppose it works perfect when the plane is on the jacks? I ate your breakfast as well as your danish...So much for my Holiday diet. I guess I can just quit drinking beer for a while...yea, hold your breath. See you soon. Missed you at lunch last Thursday too.

Got it figured out today. It was the dump breaker I just installed. It was open, so no matter what I did the motor was not going to start. I will order another this week.
guess it could have been a lot worse.
