Dues paying COG members received this info some time ago, but time to release the info to the public side of the Forums. This year’s fly-in will take place at KDNL in Augusta, GA 9/19-9/21. Hotel accommodations at the Partridge Inn a short distance from the airport FBO. More details shortly.

I still have not figured out how to register for the fly-in. I have the hotel booked but can not find the usual banner at Commander.org.

<--- Still needs to register.

Same here I don't see any banner that I used in the past to register

Any update on the banner. N192DB and N4832W are looking to go and would like to sign up. If you can send a link that would be great as well.

I'm waiting on the finalized pricing and verbiage to get on the form and then it will be posted. Tomorrow I'm hoping.

Unfortunately, we are not going to join this year as we have some adjacent travel plans. Have fun, and don’t get in too much trouble!

Do we know if there is going to be a white elephant gift event at the dinner this year?

There is usually a Yankee Swap at the fly-in. Bring a suitable contribution to the table. (Useful or humorous,… your choice)

It seems I may never make it to one of these :). In the previous years since 2021 when I first bought my Commander and later found this fantastic group .. it’s always been the exact same weekend that I go to the Bahamas either right on the front side or back side of it so I haven’t been able to swing it! This year, it is actually in the town that is my #1 / always first fuel stop when I fly south going to either the Bahamas or Florida in the 112-TC, the Skyleader 600, or the Cherokee but I think work/travel is gonna mess it up this time.

We just acquired the ownership/purchased our primary competitor in our industry and there is a big event I have to be at for it, that Friday on the 19th … but if weather holds out like it appears this week, I probably will be in my Commander 112-TC flying down to this Meeting in KY on Friday, and will have to stop outside Bristol, TN on the way home to drop-off my colleague off there if we do fly down as planned … so maybe I can swing a drop-in visit at least and finally meet some more of my fellow commander owner/lovers!

Not sure I can swing it … since I have to be in Houston the following week and tight on time in between … but maybe I can work it out finally and at least come in for half or more of the day Saturday and meet some more of y’all!

If you need a hotel shuttle on arrival, you can request one at this link:

We tested it today and the shuttle arrived within 15 minutes.
