New Orleans area?

Re: New Orleans area?

Interesting apparatus on your waist there Lonnie

Is that used to help direct the "pee" overboard while drinking?

:)

Re: New Orleans area?

Ian you are acting as if your from the south. Its a shame some of our Yankee friends like Hopkins, Sven, Bunn and the Gaggle of Seagulls don't act the same way LOL!!!!!!
Ahem, I am sure if you polled Ian's better half, Regina, on the topic, you would find that we Yankees are considered quite gentlemenly!! :o

But Lonnie...you think of Bunn as a Yankee?? Sheesh!

Yup. 20 years of patient wifely marital training undone in one afternoon by a polite yankee. Who would thunk it! A New Yorker even! Regina still remarks on the oddity of that.

Re: New Orleans area?

My wife and I are heading to New Orleans on New Years Eve to stay downtown and catch the Saints vs Panthers game on 1/1. Sounds like Flightline First is the recommendation of choice for Lakefront?

Re: New Orleans area?

Used Flightline First my last trip through there and they treated me well. Storm moved through and they moved my plane indoors.

Re: New Orleans area?

New year is usually crazy busy at Lakefront due to Sugar Bowl and Saints game as well as general good time holiday makers. Get your reservations now for hotel. Use my name with the linemen at FF and they will take care of you. In fact, let me know what time you might be arriving and I will get you set up. Hangar might be difficult but worst comes to worse we will get you in a Tee Hangar if you need to be under cover.

Almost every year since I lived here we have fog at New Year so don't plan to arrive early or late. Mid afternoon usually is clear.

Re: New Orleans area?

Thanks Ian, luckly we made reservations early for lodging. I'll be in touch for our arrival time and thank you for offering to help. Good advice on the weather, keeping my eye on it!
