July 4th Grand Oaks

We are busy at Grand Oaks getting ready for July 4 th fly in.. The runways are in great shape, mowed and rolled today, had 1/2" of rain so the dust is settled. Parking will be better this year, we have mowed area for about 25 planes. A tail dragger section and of course a VIP area for Commanders. New "Follow Me" vehicle for this year so parking will be a sinch.

That is in South Georgia if you get lost.

I may bring the grandkids, we're basing out of Mid to North Bama for this 4th (lake next to Talladega). Be a great event to share with them.. Do we need to bring anything?? Time ??

May want to bring your swimming gear, no skinny dipping is allowed before 9 pm,

As long as you are in the Commander the follow me truck will lead you to the VIP parking.
