Terry, you might consider leasing that crate on a repetitive basis. There will be some demand for awhile (especially when a terminating fix is approved) and it might pay for itself several times over. Heck, you might negotiate w/ the woodworker to make several and take a commission each time he leases one to an owner. There has already been at least one elevator destroyed in shipping so the need for high quality protection is very real. Perhaps stage them in different parts of the country or repair stations like ACW or AAS would lease them to send to their customers. You may have a qualified local shop that would be interested. A small biz opportunity!
