I'm going to this Fly In next month.

Booked a rental car through Enterprise and they remarked it was a good idea to book early as they expect to sell out and were not currently planning on bringing in extra cars for the event.

Reserved a room at the Hotel Indigo on Orange Beach.

Any one else in?

Hey I could be if I get my plane back in time! (Jim "hint hint")

Re: AOPA Fly In - Gulf Shores, AL October 26-27

Mentioned it to Connie this morning on the way out . . . Still juggling the calendar, we're close enough that she can drive down.

Be great if we could 'attempt' to park next to each other thus multiplying our 'ramp appeal' times XXX

At Sun n Fun, AOPA puts on a good seminar / itinerary.

We're planning on making a day of it on Saturday

When the time gets closer I will update my arrival info. Generally I am planning a Friday morning arrival

Sounds like a nice time, great location for a fly-in. Been a while since I’ve been to the ‘Flora-Bama’ or whatever they call it.

Will be there tomorrow Saturday.

Enjoyed a few days at the beach and a few cold ones at the Flora-Bama. Saw N911BM on th ground but they had a better parking spot than me. I was out in the south 40.

Sorry we missed you, we arrived around 7:45 local and left around 2:30. Went to the Engine Seminar and the Top Ten Pilot Tips

Today’s AOPA weekly email video ( from Gulf Shores) ends with a restored Huey flying along a row of parked aircraft.
Who’s Commander did I see there? Did anybody else catch this?
