Hi Don, I have had your pump up and running for a long time. I did borrow your manifold to work on other pumps, I recently got two spare manifolds so I will put yours back on and ship it to you. I was your gear up check valve that was bad, the rest of the pump is working to specs. When I put the manifold back on I will run it again do double check.

Your electric motor is good and strong.

Thanks.

Ken,

Not sure why this shows up as Visitor message. This platform confuses me!

Anyway, thank you for letting me know about the gear up check valve issue, which is what you suspected it was. How about my other two questions?

2. You mentioned Scott Saddam was having trouble getting the new pump signed off. Wondering if and how this was resolved?

3. Will you please send me the "pump running" wiring schematic? Email is dbgrove1@gmail.com

Thanks,
Don
Phil, saw your post offering to rebuild a Gerdes fuel selector on a 112. I have an Airight selector that needs work. Do you work those as well? Thanks. Larry

Hi Justin,
Sorry to hear about the airplane woes but congrats on expanding your family!
Not sure if you have reached out to Judi on the site or not but she could most certainly help in marketing / finding a solution.
Her id is Janderson on the COG She is known as "The Queen Mother" of all Commanders and used to work for the company.
To answer you initial question it is most certainly appropriate.
Please furnish as much detail as you can and I would suggest scanning any logs or documents you have to make it readily available to you prospects.
When I sold my Aerobat 2 yrs ago I had a Zipfile with all that info and could just send it out on a moments notice.
It gives prospects an extra level of confidence to make a decision.
If you care to please send me the info including asking price and I'll check with my local guys for you.
Best of luck!
Bill
Hello, I am Bryan Eakins and own N112MB, 112A, SN: 219. I live just north of CLT but the airplane is down at Auburn, AL with my two boys who are flying it. They are have some A/S, VSI flucuations and so I want to have them drain the static system. Not being down there can you give me some advice on the procedure. The maintenance manual just calls it a “sump tube”. Thanks (704) 996-3761
Thank you for reaching out it was designed by the previous pilot Jon Anderson and Joshua P at Avionics Shop in FL. There is also an ipad outside the picture to the right of the frame. Please see layout attached.
Congarats!
You'll be "drinking from a fire hose" for a bit but all well worth it.
Perhaps reach out to Judi on the group or her email Sunco@comcast.net
She is the "Queen Mother" of all Commanders and can be of great help on many levels.
Good luck!

I am trying to locate A pilot control check valve assembly for my 77 114, if anyone can direct me to where I can find one would appreciate it

highly recommend. He knows the plane inside and out. Very good to fly with. Good luck!
Ken,

great idea with the motors. Combine these with Phil’s GUCV and they make a great benefit to COGers. Does Arco want upfront tooling charges or have a Minimum Ordering Quantity to manufacture the motor assy’s? COG officers have been discussing some options around dealing with parts that require minimum orders and such. We can discuss by phone if desired.

I will buy them in batches of 20, I told them that I estimated that I would need about 20 per year. I have three pumps on my bench right now awaiting the motors. also have 10 firm orders so I will be ordering some more fairly soon. The only thing I don’t know right now is the shipping cost. It’s just going to be a couple of weeks before the first batch arrives and I want to test them thoroughly. They have so many blueprints of the motors and everything conforms to my measurements.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately he doesn’t have that plane anymore or I’d do exactly that. He is right near me. He has offered to come to where the plane is in West Virginia and check me out in the plane I’m buying.

As an alternative, the current owner is offering to let me build time with his pilot (owner doesn’t fly the plane), meet the insurance minimums, then go get my own and close the deal. One way or another, we’ll get this done. Thanks for the recommendation and encouragement!

Hi Frank, Bill Hopkins here. Can I please get your last name so I can include it on the list of pump kits buyers? Thanks a bunch.

Good afternoon,

Would you like to part with one?

If so, let me know the cost and what serial number you had then made for. I'm number 127 and the cap is the doomed one.
do you know where the altitude hold module is located. I recently purchased a 114 (Century III autopilot)
Im
new to this site. I’m a student pilot and I know wanting a commander 112a to be my first plane. I’m pretty set to this however there is one thing I’m unsure of, can a commander 112a do all requirements for your check ride, I’m odviously looking to finish my lessons and learn in my own plane. Honestly I just feel more comfortable knowing it’s mine haha. Any help would be much appreciated! But a commander is definitely gonna be my pick. Just wondering on all your maneuvers and typical check ride test.
