VFR Adventure - 42W - KFTG to KSNH 10/21

Hey folks - if the weather is cooperative - I plan on taking 42W to KSNH (Savannah, TN) next Saturday the 21st. I'd like to get in there around 1:00 PM -ish. It'd be great to meet up with anyone who is around the area.

I am also figuring out how to get from KSNH to either a rental car place or an airport in the Atlanta area. I think Muscle Shoals has Boutique Air service to ATL for about $100-ish.

I've spoke with Mike, he'll probably be around to meet up - anyone else want to try to meet up?

KMKL has a regional carrier flying C208s.

Tickets are super cheap from what I'm told (one of the subsidized local airlines).

They fly from Muscle Shoals Al. (about 40 min away from Savannah) to Atlanta.

I am not sure I will be around that weekend as my wife's birthday is Monday. We maybe heading off someplace to celebrate.

i checked them about 90 to 100 - so it's an option - or Corinth and a rental car.

I'll stay in touch with you and see if it'll work out to meet. I completely understand about your wife's birthday!

Looks to me like flying to Atlanta metro airport with good Uber service would be a better (convenience & cost) option? K

Yeah that’d just require transport to muscle shoals. Right now, since nobody is flying towards ATL ish that I’ll be calling enterprise in Corinth to see if they can drop a car

I would take you Atlanta if I had seats installed. . I should be at the airport Sat afternoon working on the plane when you arrive.

Dean please take a minute and fill me in on what ya got going here? I'm not tracking with you on why you're going into Savannah but trying to get to Atlanta, why not fly straight into either Cobb Co/McCollum or PDK or Falcon Field etc etc and drive from there a short distance to your final distanation that you're trying to get to? Why land in Tenn? I'm missing somehting here and the reason I'm asking is if you need a ride then maybe I can work it out to meet you wherever you're landing and fly you to Atlanta.

I'm less than an hour flight to Savannah and less than 25 min to Atlanta.

Talk to me with details?
