SuperStream

Re: SuperStream

Hi All,

Based on 38 airplanes thus far, we can say the SuperStream gain does vary ship to ship, within a realm of 5 to 10 KTAS, and usually somewhat with altitude for any given ship, with maximum gain typically right in the old sweet spot of 6-9,000 MSL. An also, I can confirm the top of the gain class is usually the ships that arrive exhibiting noticeable down elevator in cruise, let's say tip offsets of 3/8" or more.

When we do a full empennage job at Aerodyme, we are able to correct both deflection bias and the "twist" that does, in fact, exist on many Commanders, causing the elevators to impart a roll to the ship which has been previously corrected by opposite rigging the flaps if the plane is, in fact, flying straight at the moment.

Happy New Year All!
Jim
