Nothing locked down but looking somewhat promising this year.
For someone who has never been - and don't intend to fly in to the fly - in, what are decent choices for Satellite airports, avoid renting a car and Uber in / out to from nearby hotel (within 30 mins )

I've used Winter Haven (KGIF) many times. Great folks, municipal owned. Last year (and this year), the FAA set up a portable control tower. The ramp near the terminal building got full pretty fast with grass parking near by. However, they opened up parking on a hard surface with tie downs on the other side of the airport. Uber was about $40 from KGIF to SUNnFUN. I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Winter Haven. Uber from hotel to SUNnFUN was about $36. KGIF does have a shuttle to SUNnFUN this year.

A couple of times, I have flown into Kissimmee (KISM), stayed at a nearby Holiday Inn and rented a car. The drive was roughly anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour (to the gates). At that time, the car rental rate was about the same as 2 uber's from Winter Haven, and the Holiday Inn rate was about $75 less per night than the Holiday Inn in Winter Haven. That said, one year I stayed at the Terrace Hotel in Lakeland. A very charming hotel. Just checked their room rates for SUNnFUN time. The rates have SKYROCKETED to say the least. A lot of the vendors stay at the hotel. So you meet a lot of interesting people, versus the Kissimmee area.
