Will be at Lake Tahoe Thursday Thru Sunday this week Leaving New Orleans tomorrow. I'll be doing an inspection flight on a Vultee during that time.

Hello Roberto,

I'm just an hour or so south of SFO. There's a 114 here at KMRY also, but I have yet to meet the owner (supposedly he flies with someone due to a lost medical). When do you think you'll be coming through? Need a place to stay?

If you go to "members google" you will see a map & identification of most of the Commanders in the SF Bay Area. I am at CCR just outside SF and am able to provide any help that you might need. When are you going to be in the Bay Area?

Hi all:

I am arriving to SFO on January 18 on the evening and driving to Lake Tahoe on the 19 and returning to SFO on the 24 and leaving on the 30th.
I´ll be staying in Marriott´s Timber Lake in Lake Tahoe and in Hilton´s Embassy Suites by the Airport in SFO.
I have a quite a tight business schedule between Tuesday 25th and Thursday 28th, but very open the rest of the days.
Does someone knows if I can buy a new pitot tube and the o-rings to overhaul the shimmy damper in the San Francisco Area?

Shane, thanks for the offer for a place to stay, I´ll be staying in the Embassy suites until Friday, paid by the company, and then I think my wife is moving us to a Marriott branded place for Friday night to use out some points and then we leave Saturday evening.

It would be nice to meet you Roberto. Your schedule does not seem to offer many windows to do that.
My pilot's club at CCR has a crab/steak event Fri 1/21 that you could join up with ($35 each). Another option is that we could arrange a gathering (lunch/dinner,coffee) of Commanders at CCR on a day good for you. (Enroute to/from Tahoe or when free 24-30.) I know that others in the area could do the same at their airports.

It is best to get these things by mail from the factory or from Jim Richards (Aerdyme). I rarely get anything locallly.

What a beatiful state you guys have in California (even if it the state government is broke!), we took route 50, incredible scenery! Amazing the quantify for general aviation we have seen in San Francisco and our way to Lake Tahoe; this seems to be a really nice place to fly!
