Oshkosh EAA 2022

Anyone going? I'll be there for the duration. Planning on arriving Friday before it starts. My son lives in Milwaukee, so I'll go see him before and after. Also any gouge appreciated for a first timer. I'm finally getting used to the SE piston world

I’ll be going again this year. Will be parking in the North 40 and staying in Appleton (Four Points). Arriving Sunday morning, leaving Thursday morning.

My son after living for years in Madison decided to move this past month - so....for the first time in years I may not be going (I quit camping with the plane years ago).

Not this year, no airplane since February thanks to an overzealous A & P. The kicker is that KOSH is only 266 miles away, and Airventure is generally one of the cheapest vacations I take. I might just have to drive this year. No green dot for me!

I’ll go in some fashion. I usually fly in, this year I have some vacation time, with reason to include the U. P. of MI. I may just stop by in my truck on the way to or from MI. I don’t have anything major planned at Oshkosh, just the usual looking around.

I may fly up next Friday and leave Sunday. My buddy who flies for Sanderson Farms had to bail on me at the last minute because they are officially being sold today and he is in fear of losing his job.
