Where's the next Commander fly-out?
I actually sensed a sincere tone of disappointment in my wife's voice when I told her we were a wx no-go for the MI fly-out scheduled for this last weekend.
The weekend was not a complete bust as we were able to spend time with our son who lives in another state. As far as the MI trip, I think she had built up her flying courage points in anticipation of the healthy x-country and she looked forward for the opportunity to visit with a few of the ladies she's meet through the COG.
MANY thanks to Pat, Scott, Jim and the others that 'put the MI trip' together. We're hoping its a short matter of time that you may reschedule. And if comes down to just meeting at one the favorite spots for lunch that would be okay as well.
Mike has hosted a couple of recent successful AC11 heavy fly-in's at Savannah Tn. And Ken's grass strip hop was a huge success as well. Though for me it's only a 30min hop.
Please keep the word out if there is a chance for us to meet up somewhere and I KNOW there is much interest if an Alaska or Bahamas's trip were in the making.
Right now tracking the Norman Ok / AOPA fly-in and of course the COG CO fly-in.
Thoughts, Ideas, Suggestions???
