Wow this is great even the bureaucrats let up sometimes and allow beauty to fly.

Between 10-1030 a.m., 8 vintage bi-plane aircraft will ‘fly-in’ to Reagan
National Airport (DCA). The planes will be divided into two formations of four aircraft each. Flights may enter DCA airspace from the south or from the north. The aircraft will depart DCA after 3:30 p.m. today. OEM/JJB

One of the bi planes ended up nosing over on landing with a reporter on board. No one was hurt thank goodness. Saw the local vid, almost looks like a brake locked up.

I heard the reason they even let these GA aircraft into DCA was because they were filming a legends of flight movie for the Smithsonian Air & Space museum. I'll bet that Stinson incident at National will look spectacular in I-Max!
