N912JH in Tyler

I took my 81 year old dad on a flight to Tyler (KTYR) this morning for breakfast and while we were in the museum next door N912JH landed and taxied up to the on field restaurant. I wanted to meet up with whomever they were, but by the time we got out of the museum they were already in the plane and taxing for departure.

Absolutely beautiful airplane. Flight Aware showed them flying NW up to the Fort Worth area.

If they are COG members, sorry I missed you. I was in N6105U on the ramp.

This was my first time to try the cafe in the old terminal and it really was delicious. My dad got scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I had to spend 10 minutes explaining to him what hash browns were. He acted like he had never seen or heard of that food. He loved them.

The airplane museum was great too. Well worth the visit to Tyler if anyone is in the vicinity.

Good to hear they're still open. I haven't been by there in a while. It is a really cool museum too - lots of military stuff, if I remember correctly.

Next time we're together I'd love to hear your explanation of what hash browns are - not quite sure I know

Sorry I missed you! We were over at the museum and you guys were in your plane already started up and ready to taxi when we came out.

That is our first time to go to that airport restaurant. Let me know if you guys fly back down in the future.
