Hi Bruce, not wanting to pile one but I will offer that the information and support you receive as a Commander owner from this forum exponentially exceeds any chafe anyone may feel from a (free speech) comment made by a member or two.

There is no other site like this for our group on the planet and every Commander owner here has saved major money and energy with the information provided by members.

If you choose to be a member, please enjoy the diversity and profit personally from the massive help you will receive from anyone that can.

If you don't like what you see, you don't have to belong.

What will happen though is that as you continue to dig, you will alienate yourself from the contributors and will only ever get what you can find and not what you ask for.

The group is awesome and as a new Commander owner coming up to one year soon, I could not have made it as far as I have without the group so please....sit back and enjoy....

Can't we all just get along? Hey ... this is a large and diverse group and there have been a few noses knocked out of joint along the way (never by me certainly, nor has mine ever been smacked ... yeah ... sure ...) but pound for pound, this is the most helpful group most of us ever associate with. when volunteers who put in a ton of work get ragged, maybe now and then they tire of it and what might come off as pompous to one, was just another's frustration. I put it a ton of work on a couple of fly-ins and got pretty damn pissy when I felt it was not appreciated. But I was just tired and frustrated. That work paled to what so many others do here. So give them a break, eh?

Having said all that, this is also a very open and forgiving group. We are pretty good at just letting it go and starting again, so now worries. I have several good friends in COG now that at one time was on relatively bad terms with. We all persevere in our dedication to keeping the best single on earth still flying.

Renewed my membership a couple of weeks ago and still have not been able to get into the "member only" sections. Can someone guide me to rectify this deficiency"

You membership expired this past September.
You did pay for something but I do not know for what.
You paid $ 194.00 for something ? What for ?
Membership is only $75.
Let me know so I can fix your status.

Bob, The $194.00 was for membership (1 Year $75.00) and registration fee for the 2016 Pine Mountain Fly-in ($119.00). My Paypal records show you received the payment of $194.00 on 9/15/2016. Next time you don't know what I'm paying for, try contacting me.

HUH, WHAT??????:confused::eek:

I didn't know it worked that way. Typically throughout life when I send someone a payment for something I make sure I thoroughly "Notate" exactly what said funds are for and then "I" follow up to verify and confirm they received my payment and have applied it towards the appropriate item(s).

I NEVER EVER wait for accounts receivable to contact me; Furthermore I wouldn't expect them too as it was me sending the funds not them.....

But this is just my Business thoughts and the way I operate and run my 4 companies. But what do I know?

Hopefully you'll get your membership access granted soon.

Hey Jacobs,
You membership payment showed up on the same payment notice that your payment for the annual fly-in payment did. Everything fixed now. Guess I will have to open both eyes.
