While watching a cable tv show I see the author of Chariots of the Gods standing next to a Commander.
Famous authors need to get around too!

Hello, interesting to see that airplane in Discovery Channel. That is exactly my 114, TI-COS, ex HR-AAB from Honduras. I see that is a picture, what was the program about, Von Daniken is the guy in the pic?

Gonzalo, he wrote the controversial book Chariots of the Gods back in the late 60’s or the early 70’s. The cable tv series was titled “Alien Astronauts “ I believe.
More than likely it was on the Discovery channel. He insinuated/ hypothesized that alien astronauts had a hand in building early mankind’s major achievements like the pyramids which are found all over the world.
Major religious leaders were upset with his ideas.
However, if you look closely at Inca/ Aztec or Egyptian
carvings They all depict what appear to be helmeted individuals that look surprisingly like astronauts.

Rolf yes , I know something about Von Daniken my dad used to read everything about him, and told us all abous his theories. But what is amazing is see this pic with this guy besides my plane. Who knows the date of that pic. probably 35 yrs ago.

I personally subscribe to the Time Traveler theory. People visited from the future typically arriving in modified 80's era DeLoreans. That's why next to the helmeted figures depicted on the Inca, Aztec and Egyptian structures you'll also see the inscription “Doc” - presumably referencing their leader.
