Re: Commander Sighting
So finally some 'bearable' flying days in the Mid-Atlantic. Saturday flew to FME '@the DC Mulberry BUSH'. (Duyai Bush BS).Car behind locked gates fir 2 years. Glad N112HT at MTN. Remember how long it took to get the 1205 out code.
Anyway HWY-FME 11 controllers, no class B. No info from controllers to controllers until my SFRA 'Wooly GATE' entry.
And look what was waiting for me after 15 years since N112HT at FME : Butt, no Bunns around and no Bunn seen lately by Tipton staff.
Yesterday, after 6 FSS puter hangups, filing the SFRA flight plan and calling Potomac TRACON, finally got an SFRA Squawk code out . They wanted me to call on 132.43 rather than 119.7. So at 4ft, gear up I call and he said call 119.7.
We flew over to GED to see my/our Nephew & family. Last time GED 2003. Many changes to the WW2 field, new Terminal, restaurant - run by folks who had restaurant across open mall from my sisters Rehoboth Beach gift store.
Nephew Nate picked us up with grand nephew Javien (3.5), wearing I planes T shirt and kept saying my tail #s as I taught him how to tie down.
GED 1990 took Nephews Nate &Ben for 1st flights.
Tonite flew back. So 3 days in a row N112HT commuter bird.
Parked across from 098J. Jim you around? Will head back down to HWY tomorrow or Thursday. Sid&I trying to link. Still have that pesky oil weep. Got to solve, real nuscience.
Twenty five years.ago. How TIME and N112HT fly by!
