I'm doing a puppy rescue tomorrow and heading down to KCGE to meet with a flight coming up from North Carolina. I'll be at CGE for lunch, around noon or so.

Anyone that needs an excuse to fly this weekend (weather looks great) is welcome to meet me there for lunch.

Figures, so close and yet 'so far'! Without a Mag harness -no can go!
Expecting it today or tomorrow!
Be with you in spirit. 'Puppy Rescue' Good for you! Tell us more!

Once flew the Commander to CGE (from BWI and W29, ESN (all busy)) and just parked it , waxed it! Just wanted 'Peace and Quiet that Day! They didn't have a restaurant then. Enjoy being a Chesapeake Pilot'!

How did your rescue go?

How did your rescue go?

I got an email Friday night cancelling it. Someone else that was running up the coast picked them up and brought them to NY.

I went to CGE anyway, since it was on the plan for the day. Nice day to be out, but a little bumpy.

Gee- you could have called me to meet you, filed a VFR or IFR and an IFR DC SFRA and came to Ft. Meade(10 mi from Columbia) (hehe)!
Yup Flying @ the Eastern shore of MD is always fun.
However, in spring, Sometimes is bumpy between the Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay at 5500- 9500. Both (water induced) cold air masses like upside down U's pouring meeting, mixing and coming down the middle of DEMARVA airspace. Especially @ Denton/ESN down to the Choptank.

Plan to get up to Republic/Islip one day this summer or ?
