I will be heading to KTHV this weekend, and thought I'd try and get some of the northeast contingent together for brunch/lunch.

My plan is to arrive at KTHV around 10:30am. There is a restaurant on the field (Kitty Hawk's), that I've never experienced but it has a couple of good reviews (and one not so great review) on Yelp.COM.

Afterwards, everyone can disperse. I will be attending the Cabin Fever Expo (www.cabinfeverexpo.com) at the York Fairgrounds and anyone is welcome to join me. If enough people RSVP then I will rent a passenger van. Otherwise, it's taxi and/or crew car for me.

Please RSVP here or by email if you will be attending lunch and/or the expo. That way I can call ahead to the restaurant and make arrangements if we get a large group.

Current weather forecast is sunny and breezy.

Which day?

Frank, Dave Kalback and myself are planning on flying in, just a short jump from KRDG, the new home of N6566D. Weather permitting, we'll see you Saturday!

Looking forward to it. Paul Davis and Bill Hopkins have also RSVP'd.

Frank,

I'm not very far from York, so I'll drive in. I can't fly anyway right now. I'm not sure there is a crewcar -- if not, I can give you a ride to the fairgrounds.

Cool! See you there.

No pictures taken, but just imagine in your mind's eye the following group seated around a table having brunch together: myself, Sven Faret, Jim Bunn, Bill Hopkins, and Mark Kopcho.

It was a decent winter's day for flying, with just some minor turbulence. The restaurant on the field at KTHV was very good, and anyone in the northeast should consider going there sometime for a $100 burger (or Eggs Benedict).
