This poll originates from a discussion on arranging a flight of AC11's interested in traveling to the Bahamas.

Intent of this poll is gain an idea of total interested parties.

A follow-on poll will address which month you would prefer to travel.

Thats right in the middle of Hurricane season.

Even without the hurricanes, the water is too hot.
Be prepared for CBs. You can almost put a timer on getting CBs towards the end of the day.

I was in a hold over Bimini for 1.5 hours, waiting for Miami to clear up.

Best done November - mid-April.

From what I gather...this seems like a Fall trip in order to steer clear of bad weather probability?

I see lots and lots of Air BnB options. We could leave the rooms to each of us and just group plan the In/Out and then some get togethers?

A couple of things you should know about the out islands .

Rental cars are really expensive , if available.
No rental cars at the airports. (Need to take a cab or have them come get you if they can )
Most rental options will only have a few cars available for rent.
Do not drive after dark!!!!
Rental houses might seem like a deal but most are a bit from the beach.
Better to all come in together, stay at a nice place by the beach and arrange for transportation for the group with the property.
Most better properties will have an arrangement with a local car renter and you can rent it for the days you need it.
If you are coming in as a group - very few places will have enough rooms to facilitate you, so lock in dates and book early!!!
Many properties on the out islands only have 8 to 12 rooms.
I can give you some suggestions - islands and lodging if you wish.

1- Cape Santa Maria - airport Stella Marris - Island = Long island
2 - Pigeon Cay - Airport Arthur's Town - Island = Cat Island (North)
3- Hawks Nest - Own strip - Island = Cat Island (south)
4- Fernandez Bay - Airport New Bight - Island = Cat island (Center)
5 - Bahama Beach Club - (condo Rentals) Airport Treasure Cay - Island = Abaco

All of these are on the water with really nice beaches.
