I was out at a friends place in Hamilton Sunday a plane flew over. My friend (a Cessna driver) says that plane has a different tail, I asked what do you men, her says " its not on the bottom or the top its like half way up "......Thats a commander......like yours.....yup.

Wondering if it was someone on the boards

Good morning Keven,

It was me on Sunday. It was a nice day and I went up for an hour. I hadn't been up in a month so it was time.

We'll have to get together sometime.

All 3 of us need to get together, we are too close to one another not to.

I agree, maybe a lunch or breakfast run down to Fredericksburg. Of course it is a really short hop for Scott but it's a good diner.

Since Craig is flying again, he might be up for it too.

There's a number of us in the area that might be up for a breakfast/dinner run.

The Diner is really great and fun, and can't forget Craig, Lago Vista is a short hop as well.

I'm in, but I have to see when Tracie's day off would be in the planning. She hasn't even seen 71W yet.

Also, don't forget Juergen is up here too. David Loose, Carl?

Hoping everything gets signed off this weekend (prop governor and governor cable bracket) and then N768F is back in the air......

So we have been in a 7 week ordeal removing our Century Flight HSI and installing the Garmin GI-275 HSI, so many problems along the install, all with Garmin. I have found a few others in our area, mainly Austin, that have done the same, with all the same problems. Ours was finished yesterday, hoping to fly this evening when cooler to see if actually works with the autopilot.....

I've got my fingers crossed for a positive outcome!

didn't work, new HSI wouldn't couple to the autopilot, I don't know what to say, so frustrated.

Sorry to hear that. I don't know anything about how that works so I hope someone can get it figured out for you.

Like you mentioned, it's probably a Garmin issue. That company doesn't seem to play nice with others.
