Wilco! How many total did we have, 7? Next year will try to make it a regional event and try to get a few more down there.

It was about that. We had in total planes maybe 12-13 I think. My old cherrokee came on from St. Lewis. It was good to see it as well.

Thanks! Let me know when you head NW and hopefully a fuel/food stop around Denver works for you.

I got my plane back - and will take her up this afternoon - if I can get done with work in time. Then I can commence with throwing money into my fuel tanks to get somewhere LOL.

Looks like a I missed a great time and look forward to being there next year!

More important, the event did wonders for helping my wife unit consider these types of gatherings. After a 'quick' (finally saw 200+ on the G/spd) flight home she asked what the next flying event is.
What'd we have 2 x Tn, 1 x Ks, 1 x MI and 3 from Bama. For those having not attended the COG fly-in, you are going to flip out.:cool:

Maybe fly-ins aren't good for me, Landing in LAL my girlfriend was saying how nice AC would be!

Well, I am not sure if you saw the tint I put on my windows, but I makes a big difference in the heat. I also built an Ice chest AC unit using Ice and fans that works well with the tinted windows (Home Made). Its mostly used on the ground and low altitude, then turned off at higher altitudes. Flew to Tampa last year and didn't break a sweat... :)

Glad you and your family stopped by on the way down. How long are you staying at Sun-in-fun?

Glad you guys had fun. Twila (my wife) said she was talking to your wife, saying how they has similar feelings about flying and it was good to meet someone like that. Anyway Twila enjoyed the conversations and laughter.

Will do. Sorry, but when I heard you weren't coming I had to break in to the single barrel..[emoji4]
