Michael,

I am still in annual and it's looking doubtful. My mags are being shipped back and I am not 100% sure when they will have her buttoned up. Estimate was Thursday-ish. I'd like to have a local shake down flight before I head your direction so I will probably not be able to partake of your single batch Jack :-( nor bring your wife some Colorado wine. If something changes, I will let you know.

I certainly understand. Safety first, but if you get a chance I'll have Jack with me... LOL. I presume you may have been heading to Sun-N-Fun as well? Long way for a hamburger... I do make them pretty good though....

Wow; Make me have a big head. (Bigger then it is now). I can tell everybody I have people coming all the way from Denver and Detroit just to have my burgers there so good.. Well if you do come, I'll get you a steak burger.

Anyway, In June or July I will be flying out to Oregon. Might stop for some fuel and say hello if you don't mind?

Let me know when you are heading this way! I am about 30-40 minutes from any of our airports (KBJC, KAPA, or KFTG). I'm at KFTG - they've got a good cafe and great service.

I will see what happens next from my annual and if I will make this weekend -- doesn't look good - but hope springs eternal!

According to the Weather Outlook the Southeast United States is supposed to be absolutely Beautiful for the Saturday Fly-in, in fact the weather is showing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday is going to be beautiful.

Sadly it's now official - my plane is almost out of annual >insert huge sighing frowny face<
So I won't be able to make your BBQ this time.

I will get 42W in the morning and will have a MX flight to see how things are and ensure all is well. I don't think 800 miles qualifies as a MX flight.

It seems like your BBQs are well oiled and orchestrated events - hopefully - I will receive another invitation. I am sure the single batch Jack was a 1x offer which has now expired LOL.

Yea, it did get a little chilly. Glad you came down. It was great seeing all the commanders come down and talk about each other's planes. Learned a bit from everybody being a yearling owning a commander. You guys are a bunch of good people.
Next time if your staying overnight, think about staying at the house. Plenty of room.
