In the past it's been around this time that I start talking about Black Friday, or Christmas specials, and I start offering discounts on all of the various RCM goodies. This year, unfortunately, is different. After 30 years of serving the Commander community RCM will be closing it doors. December 31, 2023 will be my last day of business. It's been a pleasure holding the reigns of the RCM juggernaut for the past 10 years, and working to expand it's vast offerings, and influence, but as the saying goes “all good things must someday end”.

I have the following items still in inventory. Any remaining items, not purchased by December 31, will be sold on Ebay.

Thanks for all of your help personally and with the Commander community. Is there any chance that maybe Jim Richards or CAC could buy the rights to produce some of your popular STCs going forward?

Carl, sorry to hear this news my friend. I’ve put on just about everything you sell and I’m glad I have. Hopefully I’ll still see you around KRFI. I was going to fly over this weekend but the weather won. Maybe someone would be interested in buying you out?

Several years ago I purchased a flap gap kit from Carl for my former 114-B, I had the parts pre-painted and my AP installed the kit without any trouble. Flying with the kit, the difference is worth it. 180 engine outs and just normal landings were improved. With only one kit left - someone should order this as I suspect this is the last one for the Commander fleet. The door stays are another “must have” - another easy install and very nice to have.

Just my opinion as a happy customer.

Carl... do you have a price sheet for what you might have left?
 
Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to start moving all of the remaining items over to Ebay. They'll be listed there at the regular retail price plus 10% to cover “free shipping”. I'll try to make them as visible as possible by including, Commander, Rockwell, 112, 114, etc into the listing title.

I'm going to continue to produce all of the plastic, and fiberglass parts, stinger lenses, wing root fairings, landing gear doors, etc. for those that need them. I'll also continue to offer MT Propellers, and EarthX Batteries for as long as my relationship with those manufacturers will allow.

All STC's, design rights, tooling, business names, and internet domains are also for sale. These are available individually, or as a package if someone wants to continue the RCM legacy.

Here's the final count of available items. I have some spare parts that I might be able to assemble into somemore landing light kits, or flap gap seal kits, if any of you are in a pinch. After the 31st you will no longer be able to order from the RCM website.
