You could come into Yingling at Wichita. I think the Airport Hilton Hotel if needed and there is a wide variety of cusine available. Great restaraunt in the hotel also. If you decide here, I'll give you my cell #.

Yingling has a long standing relationship with the Hilton, which has significantly reduced rates and meal discounts available to pilots. They provide transportation to and from the hotel, and have a hospitality lounge set up for pilots only. Very pricey fuel, however.

If you're just looking for fuel and food, I'd recommend Lloyd Stearman Field (1K1). Excellent restaurant and reasonably priced fuel. Like stepping back in time.............

I know some of the activities start before Friday, and I am glad they are in order. This program is for Friday and Saturday schedules.

Looking to hitch a ride....

Sorry for the late notice. I thought I had this worked out. I am trying to get from Reading, PA (KRDG) to Willow Run (KYIP) to meet up with Angelo Sorce to fly out together.

We are planning on leaving tomorrow afternoon. If anyone is heading out on Tuesday the 20th and coming from the North East please give me a call. Perhaps we could meet up.

This was my home airport when I worked at Hawker-Beechcraft, great airport, great people, who's who airport for the Wichita Aerospace Industry, at least what is left of it. Jack Pelton's hanger was a few door's down from mine. It will be very slow during the week but the weekend's are usually pretty busy.
