Welcome Jeff. Keep in mind that the 114TC/115's had the 90-gallon fuel option (which most out there will have). So if you have the ability to work with the useful load, 750NM shouldn't be an issue. See the published ranges in our FAQ here You could also get that range but at a more leisurely...

My understanding is that it's actually a number of factors which include the already mentioned greater engine power, but also thicker wing skins and some slight modifications to the wing structure.

It is easy for everyone in the Eastern U.S. - even for 112 drivers. I remember when we were at this same location in 2017 and I did day 2 of the trip - Dayton to FNL. I believe I was at 6500' and it was fun to watch the ground keep getting closer the further west I went. But all flat.

Fort Collins did nicely solve the issue of our normal aspirated Commanders getting in and out. I had no trouble with my 112 but I declined the mountain flying experience after the class session we had, lol. If we ever go back, I think an organized trip to BAS in Greely would be in order. A...
