Excited to be here was reading over the posts about how few of these there are! I previously owned a Beechcraft Musketeer I have a little over 500 hours and will be working towards my instrument as part of owning this aircraft. Just got my complex endorsement and have around 35 hours in the commander at this point. I have her hangared in KMDT Harrisburg PA and looking to do a major avionics upgrade and possibly add auto-pilot.

I am based just east of you at Chester County Carlson (KMQS)
MDT is a great place to fly in and out of!
Love the ILS approach over the Turnpike bridge especially!

Lets meet up, it's been awhile. Good to see mouse owners moving over to Commanders, there are a few of us here that jumped ship.
 
Congratulations Eric and welcome to the forum!
If you have read a few posts you’ll know that as of lately, the only option we have for a new autopilot is the Garmin 500 which should be certified & available for Commanders very soon.
 
Eric, The first money you need to spend is for a pull able breaker (35 amp) for the gear motor, and a few more..

congratulations on your new Commander, now the learning begins.
