    Cat Island

Re: Cat Island Yes, that's the article I remember, and another one suggesting you be very careful after an overhaul for a number of hours. I'd feel better with a factory new engine, but I'm not sure our engines are available anymore

    Cat Island

Re: Cat Island OWT? If you have a new engine, if it's going to fail, it'll fail in the 25 hours? I seem to remember a number that if you get by, it's probably a good engine and will last a while

    New York SFRA

Re: New York SFRA If you land at KISP, it's a very short Lyft ride to the Ronkonkama Train station, which will take you directly into the city. There are also some nice hotels out there by the Airport as well. There's nothing really to see in the area however

    New York SFRA

Re: New York SFRA exactly what I just said, but you stray over Manhatten because the wind pushed you there you're looking straight at buildings directly in front of you, and you are officially out of the corridor

    New York SFRA

Re: New York SFRA Rod: If you do go up the East River, you'll need to talk to LGA Tower, you might want to ask for 1100 feet, that would be 200 feet above the choppers and should net even come close to interfering with the LGA traffic. If you do head up the east river, mind the winds. You...

    New York SFRA

Re: New York SFRA The Daytime flight is very nice, and people with you will have a nice time. The night time flight will blow you and your Passengers minds, and will be a flight they will remember for the rest of their lives.

    Oshkosh 2019

Re: Oshkosh 2019 There are some float planes right by the Ultralight Runway, but most of them seem to be land aircraft. I now assume that if you put that sign up in Your window about where you want to go they decide to Honor or not Honor that?

    Oshkosh 2019

Re: Oshkosh 2019 What's so great about the North 40? Why not park south, close to the Ultralight Runway? There is food both on and just off the Airport Proper, as well as some Good looking shower facilities. The Ride seems to be much shorter to all the activities, don't have to go around the...

Things like the Flapper in the Fuel tank in case you Take off and loose your fuel cap, the fuel is not suppose to be sucked out. Don't remember when the rules were put in Place. New Bonanzas, Pipers and Cessna's were certified...
