  • OK, I read that someone made a gasket and was just making sure there was not a gasket that we could buy, if there was I wanted to have one on hand.

Unfortunately they are all different so making a run of gaskets would be impossible. I think Frank S is the only one that used gasket material to seal them after he had them open.
Hi Joel - regarding 'New Posts', I might not have explained it well in my post, but the exact technique would be as follows:
Hit 'New Posts' - this will give you a listing of all threads that have been updated since your last activity.
For the thread with new posts you'd like to read, click on the small double-down button right next to the topic title. This is the 'Go to The First New Post' button - see attached picture.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I guess I missed that the icon took you there.
Being a somewhat typical male - what instructions - I don't read no stinkin instructions!!! :-)
    Joel,

Your avatar is showing up as a broken link in my browser. Not sure if it's being hosted on some other site, or just a problem with the new software not being happy with the image you had loaded in the old version. Just figured I'd let you know. You're not alone. I see a lot of other users with the same issue.

Hi Joel...After I read you post and picture of the nose gear pin, the post was gone. Is there anyway to retrieve it? (Like old mail?) Anyway could you resend the picture to me...I am still looking to see where the nose pin goes. I want to check to see if mine is solid or not> Hope you are doing great??

Hey, Joel...I have been a Commander owner since Aug. 2016. Love the airplane, a 114, and we spend time at KIWA and KEZZ. Good to have another owner in AZ. I am in the process of updating a few things and enlist your advice. I would like to change my Yokes and get more substancial push-to-talk switches. also, I will need an overhaul pretty soon and winder if you have (or have heard of) a shop you recommend.Sorry for the epistle. Fly safe. CaptCraig N1920J
    Hi Joel,
I purchase Jim Parkers 114HS N5842N in March and since I'm getting a crash course on Commanders, no pun intended. My latest issue is the sump drain on the upper wing. It leaks, drips now. I 've ordere a new SAF75 drain valve but wondering about install tricks or issues I should be aware of as I will probably do the work myself with AI check off. Here's my contact info you have some time to get back to me.

Hi Joel, I'm a member from Minnesota with questions about the Chandler AZ airport.
Do know anyone based there, or are you familiar with CHD at all? I would appreciate any input, thanks.

Will try to keep you posted... When things get moving would like to have you visit again, at your convenience...
