    112 Hot Shot

Re: 112 Hot Shot For the hot shot you should not exceed 28" MP. You should takeoff at 28" MP and then cruise at no more than 26.5" MP

    Super Commander owners

Re: Super Commander owners The 112 hotshot's climb at 90 KIAS is roughly 600fpm from SL to 16K, so, the climb to 16K is roughly 26 minutes. I know the Super is normally aspirated, so, that's why I asked if it would beat a 112 hotshot to 16k.

    Super Commander owners

Re: Super Commander owners 14k in 20 min, 700fpm? I really thought rate of climb of the Super Commander was the big selling point. I wonder if our 112 hotshots can get up to 16K faster than a Super Commander ... Carl, can they?

    Climb Speeds with Hotshot

Re: Climb Speeds with Hotshot For climb, I use 26", 2600 RPM, and 90 KIAS from SL to cruise altitude. I see climb rates from 400 fpm to 1000 fpm depending on weight and air temp. Climb rates seem constant up to FL 150.
