need help with GI275 HSI install

I'm avionics technicien in France and I have to install a GI275 HSI, I don't know where install the GMU in the aircraft...
May I ask you, where did you installed it in your aircraft?

Hello Cedric,

Mine was installed in the right wing, next to the inspection plate closest to the end of the wing. My tech made a bracket to have the GMU level, and then ran the wire. It was initially installed in the rear empennage, but we were getting interference with other avionics. The install was pretty quick, as my mechanic is pretty good with metal work.

Mine is in the same locaton and our avionics shop modified the support bracket for the new GMU as well.

Mine was installed at the original place with an adaptor plate, but we had to move some wires to the other side because of interference. After that it passed the test.
