Gear extension Jim Bunn JBunn jwbl@comcast.net I think I found why the gear did not go down normally but I' for the llife of me I  don;t understand it. We put the plane on jacks raised the gear and it went up normally. Put the gear handle down and ..nothing. I noticed there was no bell warning even with the throttle all the way back.and the gear up., so I adjusted and cleaned the mircoswitch in the throttle quadrant and got the bell to come on with the throttle pulled back. Lowered the gear and...voila! it worked. Cycled several timesw/no problems and the bell stopped when I moved throttle forward. What is in this circuit that would make the gear NOT come down? Someone please splain it to me.....
