I am told that there are two sizes of wiring harnesses you can purchase for my '78 114. One fits a 7/8 wrench and the other fits either a 5/8 or 3/4 wrench size. I am not exactly certain if these measurements are correct. My mechanic tells me it would be better to get the smaller sized harness but can anyone confirm the benefits of the small vs. the larger sized harness and where to purchase a set if such a benefit does exist for a 114? I don't really understand why there would be any benefit from either size but then, I am not an expert in these things. Any input would be appreciated as I need to purchase a replacement for my current harness set. Many thx.
