gear bounce Bill Bailey wab003 wab003@aol.com

Query (perhaps for Robin or Mark S if you are checking in)...

I've noted an occasional left main gear light flicker during the extension cycle.  Left gear drops first and provides a solid green.  As right main locks and lights up then left light may blink off and back on.

Tried to wiggle the left harness w/ the master on to see if I could get the pump motor to come to life(indicating a funky connection in the harness or switch) but no dice.   Pressure switch bounce on the left as the right comes up to pressure to shut off?  Can't tell by the motor as it runs until the nose locks in place which, as is typical, happens last in the cycle.

Any thoughts?  Recall the maint manual has a cryptic comment in the cycle text section about no flickering/flashing of the gear indicator lights during the cycle or some undescribed problem/peril/consequence is implied.  I could see where that action might indicate defective switches or harness, but that doesn't seem to be the problem here.  What am I missing?

Bill

PS - checked the lamp and lamp holder and they are fine.  Something in the cycle is triggering.
