Bugs on leading edge. Ken Andrew ksandrew aviation@andrewtent.com

Hi All,

Living in South Georgia we have bugs the size of race horses, on the plane I am using the usual things that people recommend here on the web site.

Thinking outside of the box, at work we have a number of semi tractors, that get covered in bugs every day.

For the past thirty years we have washed them and then always spray the leading edges (and trucks do have them) with PAM.

This is the product that you are supposed to spray into a pan to stop the food sticking to the pan. A bug or food, about the same thing.

It has worked very well on our trucks and we just wash off the bugs, no effect on the Emron paint job.

So, without a federal grant, I am going to try PAM on the Commander. The left wing only, I will continue to use the usual solutions on the right wing.

Of it works like I think that it will, I will apply for an STC, and market the new product so all can buy from me. I know that you would not dare go to you local grocery store and buy the none approver product.

Life is a barrel of fun.
