First of all, I am excited to say that I achieved my instrument rating last week!
It was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences of my adult life. Two days ago, while trying to unlatch the passenger door, I snapped the cam lever in the passenger door.
Bill Bailey was kind enough to confirm my suspicions and the needed part number ( 43532-4). I know I am not the first to need this item, and I'm sure I won't be the last. I have tried the Commander Parts department- Strike One. Then I tried General Aviation in Stow, Ohio - Strike Two. Next, was Dallas Salvage- Strike Three. And finally Windward (sp.) Aviation in Minnesota- Strike....well you get the picture. So, I am asking the Commander Nation to see if anyone has an extra right door cam or knows anyone or place where I can get one. I would greatly appreciate it. I'm starting to feel like the Cincinnati Reds with all these strike outs.
