Forgive me if this is a “duh” question … but … my elevator trim indicator strip and the center console faceplate that houses the trim wheel have no markings on them to identify the “nose up”, “neutral”, and “nose down” conditions.

Looking at the 112 Maintenance Manual it appears that if I install the control wheel lock and roll the trim wheel until the elevator trim tabs are in the neutral position, I can then mark a “neutral” position on the trim indicator strip and center console faceplate. 

Will this work or am I missing something?
