Gear Warning (Again) Jeffrey Schweitzer dentate jeffrey.s.schweitzer@kp.org
Have asked this before--shortly after I got my plane back here I noticed the gear warning light coming on during climb and intermittently after that. Got better for a while, my mechanic has been SURE it was the up limit switch.
He has adjusted the switch, and showed me where it was worn so that he felt it was not making contact.
However, adjusting the switch has not helped. The warning light is now on constantly when the gear are up. I can feel them come up as always and the pump does NOT run after they are up during at least an hour of flight.
I am going to insist that we put the plane up on jacks this week to look at this--will take it elsewhere if he won't--but would appreciate a list of things to look for!
