I just bought and brought back a 78 112 TCA from Arlington, TX to Winder, GA with the help of Paul Davis.  Great trip.  We did encounter a problem after making a couple of stops along the way.  The plane would not restart w/o a 'jump' or until it cooled down.  Now the plane will not start at all.  The mechanic checked the starter and we put in a new battery.  When the ignition switch is turned on all we get is 'chatter' (rapid clicking).   He almost destroyed the pilot's seat taking it out so that he could reach a connector under the instrument panel.  It was chattering.   After he 'forced' the connection, the solenoid at the battery is chattering, but no start.   Any ideas?
