77J just came out of its 50hr check last week. One of the items they fixed was a leaking nose wheel shimmy damper (replaced seals). On a night landing yesterday it felt like the nose wanted to shimmy wildly but I was able to hold it off. On the return flight home, the landing felt normal. This afternoon while cleaning 77J, I notice the rear section of the damper housing is MISSING. I looks like the rear section (where the retaining clip was supposed to be) is completely gone.

Any one have this type of a failure?
