My door seals, both sides, have big notches carved out, right at the top of the frame (2-3 inches). Call me an idiot, I had never noticed, but the copilot side interior was drenched after leaving the plane overnight at ACK during heavy thunderstorms.

I can get new seals from rejuvenated CPAC. Has anyone removed/replaced the door seals? Do I need anything more than a screwdriver/suitably duct-tape-modified putty knife? (my ignorance is on display).
