I am about to tackle replacement of the windshield on my 112TCA. It appears that the original is a 1/8" inch thick windshield which was installed at the factory using a foam tape around the perimeter.
I noticed that there is a 1/4", thicker version available. For those of you who have installed the thicker version, is there still enough room in the channel to use the tape to set it or was some alternate method used?
Any ideas on how to keep from messing up the paint around the bottom screws and the trim that has to be pulled off?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
