Out of rigging Dave Kalbach Dave dave@epix.net Just wanted to see if anyone has run into this before.

All excited to finally be flying after my nose wheel actuator issue. I went out to do a pre-flight this afternoon, only to discover a binding in the right aileron when fully deflected. There is no real binding from the control wheel, just when you push the aileron all the way down it sticks into position.

My A/P looked thru the inspection port and is certain the bell crank is just passing thru the neutral position and losing the mechanical leverage to get out of its position. He tells me to re-rig the ailerons we're looking at quite a bit of labor (remove the rear seats to gain access)

Has anyone run into this before? Is there possibly an easier way?

Thanks
