Hello everyone, My name is Bob Walstad. My wife and I own N4679W, a 1978 112TC-A. I've been a member here for a couple years but haven't posted. I bought "Rocksie" in May of 2020 and I immediately had a Garmin GTX 345 ADS-B, A GTN 750 XI, A new ELT, and a GMA 35C audio panel. Then last year we upgraded our 8 pack for two GI 275s PFD, and MFD.
We have loved this plane and have flown into over a hundred different airports since then.
Now we are replacing our old auto pilot with a GFC 500 and adding a GI 275 EIS.
My problem is the steering yoke is too small to feed the trim toggle and wires through and my A&P installed a flat plate on top to house them. We both agree it doesn't look good. He suggested I try to get an updated yoke from maybe a newer model.
Any suggestions?
Bob Walstad
