Hi All,

I have been posting and reading lots of interesting threads on the site since the new Commander site started...but I don't see many postings from Robin out in Big Piney Wy. Are you out there Robin? We all need your wisdom and knowledge on these fine aircraft! Also, how are the RCM mods on the 112 going? I hope all is well, and hope to hear from you soon!

I talked to Rob few days ago. He Sounded TERRIBLE! I told him go to the hospital for he thought he had Pneumonia.

I spoke with Robin about a week ago also. Called him at home to get some HS specific parts and he did sound really ill. Said he had been sick for a couple of weeks and wasn't getting any better. He did promptly send me the required parts as sick as he sounded I'm suprised they got in the mail. If you are reading this Robin, get well soon!

I'm still alive, guys.
I've been fighting a mean bug/infection the last month and am still fighting it.
I'll not be completely back to normal until another 2 or three weeks.
I've never had Pneumonia, bronchitis etc... as bad as this, ever.
Hopefully, I'll be over this soon??????
However, please don't expect any lightning fast responses to E-mails and web-board postings in the foreseeable future.
It would be best to call if you need to talk to me.

I am making this a post as this info may also be of help to others:
A decade 1/2 ago I had a horrendous bronchial pneumonia, no anti-biotic helped & I missed 3 weeks of work where in the 21 previous years only missed for the Jewish Holidays. I lost almost 8 #, had no energy, no appetite, & could only hold down liquids, best was Chicken Soup (& Chocolate). My wife finally insisted I drink the brewed Hyssop Tea. In 2 days I was on the road to recovery, back to work 2 days later. Ironically, the next JNY, I read a passage in the service about "The Blessings of Hyssop from Lebanon"- so this knowledge is over 5,000 years old. Hyssop leaves (for pan brew) available in most health food stores. For what it may be worth to you & others! Our thoughts & prayers with you!

PS- Nice Red Jag! Still working on my E-V-12 timing chain project, Commander panel paint project has had priority!!!

But again, I've never been sick like this, in my entire life.

Robin (aka "Yoda") is too damn ornery to stay down long (right Robin?) A heart of gold, though. Always there to help however, whenever he can.

I've spent 2 nights in the hospital and they still don't know what this bug is.
May have to go back again.
This is a real PITA or maybe a PITAL.

Hope you are improving, Annie and I were planning on driving from Jackson back towards Salt Lake area on Friday the 15th of August. Thought about stopping by your hangar (maybe lunch?) if you are feeling better...

Been in the hospital again.
Am headed to a lung specialist on Thursday of next week.
Still can't find out what is gong on in my lungs.
I know it forced me to stop smoking.

That is a good thing! I hope they figure out what is going on soon and get you on the road to recovery. Are you feeling any better?
