Last weekend did not work out so well. Let's try again. A couple of guys said, "why not try Ohio?" and perhaps we'll pick up some of the guys south and east. Right now, the WX forecast is excellent. So ... if you can make either or both of these, check the survey boxes. Also good to weigh in here.

Most Votes gets the location. This Saturday, Nov 5. Arrivals 9:30 - 10:00.

Road warrior for the next ten days. Sorry we'll miss seeing the gang. Both sites would work under normal circumstances.

If you go to Urbana, don't miss the new aviation museum. Several nice aircraft and a unique exhibit on the WAC's. You will never look at a granny in the grocery the same way ever again... Them's some kick butt mamas. Very clever display.

Saturday is my only option this time, Todd.

(pretty good show Saturday, eh? That 10-minute run when the sun came out late 3rd or early 4th quarter of the Blues Brothers Anthem by the UM band was just exhilarating. I don't know what the heck was going on with the long TV timeout, but every time the band jumped into it again, the crowd got wilder and wilder. We had crazy dancing coeds all around us. That is something about college sports the pros can never duplicate. 112,000 people getting nuts. The Purdue fans sitting near us were blown away by Da Big House.)

Never was crazier than the night ND game this year. It will be crazy for OSU too, just to many years of frustration ready to explode.

I am sending Pat Murphy an oil cooler tomorrow to help him get back in the air, but I think maybe his magneto will not be ready be Saturday. Pat?

Is Pat STILL waiting for mag parts to fix another pair of Kelly junk rebuilds? Some of the infamous dual mag parts difficulties?

Based on some AirNav comments I called to make sure the Airport Cafe at I74 would be open Saturday. Its a GO. Greasy eggs anyone?

With Mark Beastermeister that makes 7. This is shaping up well. WX looks good. We need 10 Commander! Not that far from PA, WV, KY, IL ... do we have ANY Hoosiers? I grew up in Indiana. I need someone to speak Hoosier with now and then.
 
I will be there on Saturday. Grimes is a fun trip and the Airport Cafe is way better than a greasy spoon. The pie is to die for! The museum is a nice benefit too. See everyone on Saturday.

Don, would you and anyone else who is planning to come please go put your pick on the poll. would be great to have you. Right now, the WX says, "BRILLIANT SUNSHINE", With the 6 on there, plus Mark Briemiester and Don Hoover, that makes 8 (mark said he could go either.) Good turnout. Let's get 10!

That's too bad, Mark. I hope its not too serious.
Well, troops, forecast is still calling for "Brilliant Sunshine." We may not see another day with temps near 60 and Brilliant sunshine till late March, so get those birds out. I am hoping to arrive by 9:30.

Well, 8 planes deteriorated into 3. Too bad ... absolutely perfect day. But Bob, Don & I had good breakfast and talked about everyone else.
