Mary and I decided we needed to get-away. I had been following weather like all pilots do and found a window of opportunity between 3/20 and 3/25. I made a few calls to lock in a hotel room, rental car, and hangar space for our Commander.

Thanks for the post Gary! As I write this Ann and I are sitting in Clermont Florida at a waterski venue
“waiting for the shrimp to boil”!
Unfortunately we had to come down on Delta as the Commander is in the shop. We live vicariously through your posts. Thanks again!

I always love to watch your videos, Gary. Your “twin commando” with the PT-6 turbine conversion is so impressive. That whine really sounds like a turbine. How do you get your ForeFlight to annunciate “nice landing, babe” every time?

:D Mary got a good chuckle from that. She has given a less then good landing grade on occasion when the winds get kicking.

You caught that from Vero tower…..one could only hope. ;)

Excellent video Gary. I've flown into Vero Beach a few times. Your video brought back a few memories.
