I am picking up 4 Dogs for P&P on Sunday morning, 7/17 at Urbana, OH, 174. They are coming up from the south. I Plan to arrive at 9:00 for breakfast. They have a great spot on the field. Anyone available?

Scott: G-D Bless You for the idea!
I'll dream about your early morning flight & breakfast with the Dogs from East of the Appalachians.

Re: URBANA, OH I74 breakfast this Sunday, 7/17?

HA! Not one person from OH, MI, IN, IL, KY Western PA, WV that wants to have a Sunday AM $100 Omlette at a great breakfast place?

I guess its my breath. That and green planes with gold stripes always sort of make the rest of the ramp feel inadequate.

Well, I will be there at 9:00 AM with Dogs arriving at 10:30 AM if anyone gets motivated.

It's not the green plane. It's the white panel...

I will put in the sunshades then to keep away all of the fawning admirers!
Deal? Anybody? Anybody?

Don't forget the pie in Urbana, don't forget the pie.....

Re: URBANA, OH I74 breakfast this Sunday, 7/17?

Pie-Chocolate Cream-now were talkin! Scott - Have landed at Findlay (walk to food place) & Lima (Ate our sandwiches) enroute Oshkosh, you knew that, as we had the Northern migration route discussion a few years ago. Now you tell us about a restaurant on the field,at I74 and Tony has to tell us about the frozen pies (well that figures, Pie = winter Canadian temps).
So Urbanna would be a good stop traveling E-W ?

Not frozen pies ! That little breakfast restaurant in the Urbana terminal has fantastic pie to finish off the bacon, eggs, toast etc that comes before it :-)

Not frozen pies- - - / :-)

Hi Tony , was just trying to say that if they had a 'Cold pie, like a fantastic Chocolate Cream, it figures that one who lives in 'Cold Country' (part of the year) would know.

BTW, your moniker, 'Proppilot' influenced me in my current 'Commander Pride' Embroidery design project to have the couple I'm working with - add a Prop to my N112HT embroidery scheme. Not quite done, but close. Should have my 'items' bg end of next week. Will post details when complete.

Re: URBANA, OH I74 breakfast this Sunday, 7/17?

Sorry Scott,

Had a full day of flying in this A O.
Met up with Ken and Todd and Maggie Hardin at an EAA breakfast in Dawson Ga, followed by a hop over to check out Ken's place.
Then Todd and I (mit SFO's) made it up to Harris Co, GA. (Where this year's COG fly-in will be held)
Quick SITREP then I'll relinquish controls of your thread back.
* Kens strip is smooth and accommodating. His estate is beautiful and hospitality can't be beat.
* Harris Co is a smaller scale GA (Gen Avn) and (Georgia):p airport off the beaten trail, Very easy navigation and access. Folks at the FBO are SUPER friendly and are anxious for our arrival. Todd, Maggie, Connie and I checked out the 'The Lodge' for a quick bite and it is definitely first class. This should be a good one . . .
"you have the controls" . .

Scott, you got my number, I don't look here very often Steve

Re: URBANA, OH I74 breakfast this Sunday, 7/17?

Thanks Steve. There are about 25 or so candidates to meet up in the 4 close states to Urbana ... MI, IN, OH, KY, maybe Western PA ... so the only practical way is just to post here.
